About Me
VISIONS Floral Art & Cake Design is the original concept of Denise Jones a Creative Artist, who is a Qualified Floral Designer and also experienced in the design of Wedding and Special Occasion Cakes.
Visions specialises in Weddings and Special Events and offers an Inspirational and complete bespoke and personal wedding and event service. Visions is UNIQUE as they can create both Stunning Flowers and Scrumptious cakes whether it be for your Wedding, a Celebration party or a corporate contract, a thank you bouquet for Mum of Bride or groom or other special person.
Visions also offers with great respect and creativity their sympathy tributes which are individually created for you and Denise will help and guide you to express your feelings in flowers of a late loved one or to their family. Visions have the insight and sensitivity to create something personal and extra special.
Visions is located in the heart of the Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic coast and is run by Denise a designer operating from her purpose Design Studio and Cake Centre locally to Weymouth just a few minutes from the fantastic Chesil Beach.
The location of the studio is an ideal base where Denise can happily and easily meet with clients from Dorset, Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire and Hampshire. However no venue is impossible and Denise has also completed floral and cake designs designated for Perth Scotland, in Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and has a commission for a special wedding bouquet bound for the Mediterranean in September 2011 and a Welsh wedding for 2012.

Creating your perfect Vision...
Hi, and now a little bit about me and my achievements.........
I have been a Floral Designer for many years and completed my studies and qualified whilst in Kent. After a short break because of personal commitments, I have relocated to be near my family in Dorset and am re-launching the Floral design side of the business and after popular demand I am now including my additional service of also designing Wedding and Special Occasion Cakes and therefore uniquely supplying my bespoke wedding/event flowers and cake designs for the South of England.
I am determined to offer that something extra special and I endeavour to offer a higher standard and variety of different styles for your wedding /special event.
I have been lucky enough to design flowers, decorate and provide wedding cakes at some fabulous venues in Kent areas covering various sized Churches, Cathedrals, Marquees,Hotels,Country Manors and jazz clubs, some of the more prestigious venues decorated in Kent include Eastwell Manor, Tudor park Hotel, Chilston park Hotel,Bridgewood manor, Rochester Cathedral, Leeds Castle, Oakwood House, Nettlestead Place, More Locally to Dorset I have designed flowers/cakes at venues such as Athlehampton House, The Rembrandt, Hotel Prince Regent, Kingston Maurwaurd, and receptions/ceremonies in hotels/manor houses in Okehampton, Salisbury, Sherborne, Ilchester.
My ultimate experience was to be chosen to be a designer and invited to design flowers for the main entrance of Westminster Abbey for The Commonwealth Day Service held every March for the Queen and attendance by all other heads of state. As this was the same weekend as my birthday – WOW! - what a fantastic birthday present having flowers shipped from the Commonwealth Countries and the designing within an hour deadline to create stunning designs the next day in the Abbey.

Then when I attended the service the next day to see the Abbey a blaze with colour and scent of floral decor it was fabulous and knowing I had helped to make this day so beautiful was an honour.”
